On 21th & 22th August of 2021 will be held Tibor Gellén Memorial CAC I-II. Dog Show in Hungary in Vasszécseny! 2 days 2 CAC shows waiting for the exhibitors in Vasszécseny (13 km southeast of Szombathely), in the ancient park of Ó-Ebergényi Castle.

Access: In Vasszécseny, at Gyöngyös Street, turn off the main road and approach the site via the paved agricultural road. The agricultural road will be unidirectional in the morning and out in the afternoon. Follow the signs! Exhibition parking behind the castle, visitor parking on the agricultural road.

Dear Exhibitor! You will find the list of judges in a box, that can be opened according to breed groups. Please, click on the name of the FCI group, or the “+” sign and open the box, where you will find the judges of that group, and the dog breeds they will be judge.

Attention!

The veterinary regulations in force in Hungary: a valid rabies vaccination for the dog is mandatory to combat the territory of the exhibition entrance! Entry to the EU countries and non-EU countries is in compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

The damage caused by the dog owner is responsible!

Dogs with docked tail and cropped ears can be entered. They will be judged together with dogs with natural tail and ears.

For foreign owners, the Hungarian Membership Card for 2021 does not entitle you to a discounted entry at either the FCI European Dog Show of 2021 or accompanying events or any other FCI event in 2021.

Attention!

Entering to the show is in accordance to the FCI and Hungarian Kennel Club’s Show Regulations, the exhibitor by signing the entry form, or by entering in the online-system, the exhibitor is undertake to comply with and be bound by the rules itself.

Conditions:

• To the show only those dogs can be entered, who has original FCI registeed pedigree, one dog can be entered only to one class.
• Entry is available by post and by online!
• The entry fee must be paid also in case of absence.
• Illegible and incomplete entry form can not be accepted.

The entry to the show is as per the current FCI and MEOESZ show regulation, accepted by signing the entry form or by using the online entry system.

Only dogs with FCI pedigrees can be entered, one dog can be entered only in one class. In case of absence the entry fee must be paid as well.

If you enter more dogs, the Minor Puppy, Puppy and Veteran classes entry fees is not counting as „First dog” in amount!

For correct class entries, please use the date of showing to calculate the age of the dog.

They only accept your entry with a copy the payment confirmation attached (bank transfer receipt)!

They can not take over the costs of the bank wire transfer.

The venue of theTibor Gellén Memorial CAC Shows is

Vasszécseny

Vasszécseny is a friendly small village in Vas county, on the right bank of the Gyöngyös stream, 12-13 kilometers southeast of Szombathely. Today’s village was created by merging the villages of Lipárt and Szécseny.

The place was already inhabited in Roman times. In the Middle Ages, there was a smaller fortress on its territory, which was one of the fortresses of Sárvár. In 1318 he appears in the form of Zechun in the charter of the Cistercians of Rábakeresztúr. In 1346 it belonged to the castle estate of Sárvár. At the time of the Reformation there was a flourishing congregation here, who in 1613 held a synod in the church here. The Lutheran church was built in the 17th century by János Török Telekesi and his wife, later the Franciscan church in Szécseny was built using it. In the 1700s, Count Alajos Batthyány built the still standing baroque Ó-Ebergényi castle. The owners of the village in the 18th century became the Ebergényi, who built a new castle here around 1790, the Új-Ebergényi Castle.

The Ó-Ebergényi Castle is one of the most beautiful buildings of the Hungarian Baroque in Vas county. It was presumably built around 1750 on medieval foundations. At the turn of the century, its west wing burned down. The values ​​of the castle were unfortunately destroyed, but the building survived the war unscathed. After the move of its last owner, the State Farm used it as a granary and then as an apartment. After 1970, it came under the management of the museum, but received little money to preserve it. As part of the Vas County Castle Program, restoration work began in 1983. The remaining truncated part of the building has been converted into a castle hotel, and has been operating again since 2019.

As its style is original Hungarian Baroque, it is a protected „A” category monument, in which one of the most beautiful, restored ceremonial halls in Western Hungary represents an outstanding value. The castle, rich in architectural and natural beauty, and its nearly 3-hectare primeval park can be reached via two romantic bridges. The park is bordered by the Gyöngyös stream and the original moat. The castle is a typical medieval building, it has several tunnels and secret corridors, which is connected with the New-Ebergényi castle.

The New-Ebergényi Castle is a two-storey listed castle built in the copf-style, surrounded by a 14-hectare park. The castle awaits its guests wishing to relax and unwind in this quiet, idyllic environment with a high-ranking hotel classification and satisfying all needs.

In the Vasszécseny is a special Mineral Museum and Geological Showroom in the village, which opened its doors in 2008. Its creator and operator is György Pődör, an engineering teacher and a local resident. The museum displays the minerals, rocks and fossils of historical Hungary and the surrounding countries. The showcases show countless more beautiful and more valuable minerals and fossils. There are micro-minerals, as well as UV minerals, which, despite their white color, boast amazing colors under the light of a UV lamp. The museum also boasts many interesting and beautiful minerals that can no longer be collected. Materials from Mátra (Gyöngyösoroszi, Recsk), Zemplén, Mecsek or Bakony can be seen, including a rare mellit from Csordakút. Also a curiosity is the Smithsonite mineral. Fossils (remains of old, extinct animals) have also been housed in the museum. There is also a dinosaur footprint on display. Marine, fang and tooth fossils are also found. The visitor can get acquainted with the geological ages, the concept of minerals, crystals, rocks and fossils. Visiting the museum is free!
