Dogs with docked tail and cropped ears can be entered. They will be judged together with dogs with natural tail and ears.

Entering to the show is in accordance to the FCI and Hungarian Kennel Club’s Show Regulations, the exhibitor by signing the entry form, or by entering in the online-system, the exhibitor is undertake to comply with and be bound by the rules itself.
Conditions:
- To the show only those dogs can be entered, who has original FCI registeed pedigree, one dog can be entered only to one class.
- Entry is available just by online!
- The entry fee must be paid also in case of absence.
The entry to the show is as per the current FCI and MEOESZ show regulation, accepted by signing the entry form or by using the online entry system.
Only dogs with FCI pedigrees can be entered, one dog can be entered only in one class. In case of absence the entry fee must be paid as well.
If you enter more dogs, the Minor Puppy, Puppy and Veteran classes entry fees is not counting as „First dog” in amount!
For correct class entries, please use the date of showing to calculate the age of the dog.

For the entry you must make registration before. When making the online-entry you can make changes after the entry done for 6 hours. When you not make any changes in this 6 hours, the entry will become final. You will get automatically e-mail after making tfhe entry(ies). It includes all information. Please check and in case of any mistakes, inform us by e-mail. In the online system you can only make the payment by Bankcard or Creditcard. If you not finish the creditcard payment in the online system, your entry will be cancelled automatically.Entry is valid only if the payment is successful via the online entry site. Entries cannot be saved int he system without payment.
Entry is accepted after payment is fully done.
They can not take over the costs of the bank wire transfer.
The exchange’s fee between classes is 5 EUR/change.

The city of the 2 x CAC Dog Show is
Esztergom
Esztergom is one of Hungary’s largest cities with a historical past. Images of brilliant royal persons, notable events, rich palaces, and churches are followed by the slaughter of cruel battles, the rampage of Tatar and Turkish hordes, and alternating images of destruction and then reconstruction. The history of the entire country thickens in the city’s past.
Esztergom has been inhabited since prehistoric times. The Romans established a settlement here called Salvio Mansio. After the arrival of the Hungarians, the city was founded by the Grand Duke Géza around 972. It was the birthplace of our first king, King St Stephen, who was crowned here on Christmas 1000 and founded the Archbishopric of Esztergom. By the 15th century Esztergom had grown into a religious and cultural centre.
Esztergom was the early medieval capital of the Kingdom of Hungary, the seat of the archbishopric and of the king until the Tatar invasion. It is no wonder that Esztergom is extremely rich in historical and cultural attractions. The most important sights in Esztergom are concentrated around the Basilica.
The pride of Esztergom is the basilica, officially known as the Cathedral of the Assumption and St Adalbert. Not only is it the most important church in the country, it is also the largest in size, at around 100 metres high. In addition to its height, it also boasts a number of other records, including one that you are confronted with as soon as you enter the church: the largest altarpiece in the world painted on a single canvas. The most beautiful part of the basilica is the Bakócz Chapel, the most valuable surviving work of the Hungarian Renaissance, which miraculously survived the Turkish occupation. The basilica is traditionally the burial place of the Archbishops of Esztergom, and the tomb of Cardinal József Mindszenty is also located here.
On the floor of the Esztergom Basilica is the Archdiocesan Treasury, one of the richest of its kind in the country and with a collection of jewellery and textiles that is outstanding worldwide. The most valuable piece in the treasury, and the country’s largest jewellery treasure, is King Matthias’ Calvary, a gold cross on a pedestal. It is made of pure gold and decorated with more than a hundred oriental pearls, precious stones and sculpted enamel. The collection also displays works of art and precious objects accumulated from the 11th century to the present day, as well as liturgical objects used for ceremonies.
The Bakócz Chapel is part of the Esztergom Basilica and the only intact Renaissance monument in the country. Cardinal Archbishop Tamás Bakócz was laid to rest in the chapel in 1521. The interior of the chapel, which survived 130 years of Turkish rule, was made of red marble by Italian master stonemasons, the altar arrived ready-made from Italy. Interestingly, during the reconstruction of the Basilica, the remains of the cathedral were demolished next to the Bakócz Chapel. In order to fit the two buildings together later, the interior of the marble chapel was sawed into 1600 pieces and numbered. Thanks to this, they were able to add a side chapel to the new cathedral, modeled after the former chapel.
Next to the basilica stands the Royal Palace, originally built as a royal residence. The palace of the Árpád kings in Esztergom is the oldest stone fortress in the country. In 1198, King Imre abdicated the castle in favour of the Archbishop, and the palace gradually became the seat of the Archbishop. The history of this castle, like that of all castles, has been eventful. The permanent exhibitions at the Royal Palace focus on the history of the castle, giving an insight into the daily life of the people of the time by visiting the palace’s baths, kitchen, dungeon and knights’ hall. However, despite the rich interior, the highlight of the tour is the White Tower, from where you can admire the unparalleled panorama of the Danube bend from all sides.
In Esztergom, the part below the Royal Palace towards the Danube is the real old town – now known as the Water Town. Here are the most charming cobbled streets and the most atmospheric houses!
From the „main street” of the Water Town, Zsigmond Berényi Street, a narrow, steep staircase, the Cat Staircase, leads to the Castle and the Basilica. There are about 200 steps to climb over the 200-metre distance. This alley-like path was built in the Middle Ages. It was used until the 19th century, when it was closed and buried during the construction of the Basilica. It was disused until the 1990s, but after the change of regime it was dug up and restored.
There are several libraries and archives in the city, including the nationally prominent Cathedral Library, also known as the Bibliotheca. With 176,000 items, the library is the oldest and richest ecclesiastical library in Hungary.
The Christian Museum is the most important ecclesiastical collection in the country, but it is also significant in international terms: after the Vatican and Munich, it is considered the third richest Christian museum in the world. The museum preserves paintings from Hungarian, Italian, German, Dutch and Austrian painters from the 13th to the 19th century, as well as Hungarian late medieval and Renaissance works of art.
Széchenyi Square, the main square of Esztergom, lined with cozy, bustling and magnificent houses, was thoroughly renovated in 2006. Motor traffic has been banned, most of the buildings have been converted into catering facilities, the Ister-Well was completed, the most important buildings received decorative lighting and charming lion benches has been placed in the square. The lion depiction found in Esztergom Castle, the symbol of royal power, is echoed throughout the city, including Széchenyi Square: on the benches, the canal covers, the marble slabs in front of the post office.
The town hall is located on the south side of Széchenyi-Square, an arcaded baroque style palace. The defining building of Esztergom’s main square was built in 1772-1773. The ground-floor house of János Bottyán (Vak Bottyán), the commander of the Rákóczi War of Independence, was originally located on the site of the town hall, which burned down in 1770 as a result of a lightning strike. Then they started to build the present building, originally for the city high school. On the ground floor, 11 arcades form a vaulted corridor, which is why the town hall is often called to the foot house. The main gate is located under the balcony, through which visitors are greeted by a vaulted door. The town hall’s main entrance and upstairs banquet rooms are raised by Rizalit from the main facade.
A place of pilgrimage for literature lovers is the Mihály Babits Memorial House in the poet’s former summer residence. The period furniture and photos are interesting, but the best thing is the cottage itself, with its fantastic tranquillity and panorama. On the outside wall you can see the signatures of famous poets, writers and painters who have all stayed here.
The church of St Anne was intended to be a miniature replica of the Basilica. Commonly known as the Garden Church, it is a neoclassical Roman Catholic church in the southern part of Esztergom. The dome is 38 metres high and the interior of the building is 314 square metres. The red marble staircase at the entrance has a limestone statue of two angels. A high central dome rises above the nave, and two towers stand independently on either side. In front of the main entrance is a wide portico with a marble staircase. In 1820, Prince Primate Sándor Rudnay decided to build a parish church in honour of St. Anne for the parishioners of the southern part of the town. The church was designed by János Packh and the construction was supervised by him. Sándor Rudnay laid the foundation stone on 12 May 1828. The construction was completed in 1837. The church is circular in plan and implements the principles of classicism, inspired by the Roman Pantheon.
A special part of Esztergom is the 2.7-kilometre-long area between the Great Danube and the Little Danube, the Prímás Island. There are five different bridges leading to the island from the city, of which the Tabán Bridge in the southern part of the city and the Bottyán Bridge leading directly from the city centre to the Maria Valéria Bridge and Prímás Island are accessible by car, the others only on foot. There is a large bathing complex, but it is worth walking across just for a stroll, and canoes can also be hired.
Lake Palatinus is an artificially created mine on the border of Dorog and Esztergom-kertváros. The lake is 840 metres long and 350 metres wide, and its waters are among the cleanest in Hungary. Along the shoreline, in a sheltered bay, lies the Palatinus Lake Baths, with a narrow sandy beach.
The Búbánatvölgy is an inner area of the northern part of Esztergom. It is a recreation and leisure area, there are no public buildings in the area. The Búbánatvölgy lies on the border of the Danube-Ipoly National Park, in the valley between the Szamár Hill and the Hosszú Hill. The northern boundaries of Búbánatvölgy are the main road 11 and the Danube.
There are several small and large lakes in the valley:
- Fish pond
- Mini lake
- Bathing lake
- Round Lake
The lakes were created artificially, continuously for twenty years from 1962. Not far from the lakes of Búbánatvölgy there is another fishing lake that is worth visiting. This is Lake Dédai, south of Lake Kerek. The area around the lake has been nicely developed, several piers and benches have been built.
The Majális spring and the Hideg spring originate in the Búbánat valley. When new wells were drilled in the Kusztusi vineyard in September 2006 in order to supply the town with drinking water, they found 32 °C water at a depth of 200 meters.
After the Basilica, the most popular programme in the city is the Geoda Interactive Prehistoric Art and Mineral Exhibition. Geoda is for children aged 5-15 who are interested in dinosaurs, fossils and minerals. It is by appointment only and is a programme of about two hours. During the visit, young visitors wander through different rooms, some where they can just look around and listen to explanations, but there are also rooms where there is some kind of activity – like gold panning.
