Club Show
Judge is Mrs. Malgorzata Wieremiejczyk-Wierzchowska from Poland.
„For as long as I can remember, my life has revolved around dogs, and my profession is also related to dogs. I am a basset hound enthusiast. My first basset hound was a beautiful female named Soraja Bajka z Zajeczego Gonu, whom I received as a gift from my mother in 1979. In the same year, I became a member of the Krakow branch of the Polish Kennel Club. I have owned and bred several champion basset hounds, the most famous of which was Dusan’s Wise Guy, who was both an American and international champion. All of my show dogs have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, but I currently have a new basset hound puppy who I hope will follow in the footsteps of my previous dogs. I have been the president of the Krakow branch of the Polish Kennel Club for 25 years and am also a member of the board of directors of the Warsaw-based Polish Kennel Club.
I became an FCI judge in 2000 and now I am appointed to judge FCI Groups I, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and X (Group VI being my speciality). I also judge all Polish breeds: Polish Lowland Sheepdog, Tatra Shepherd Dog, Polish Greyhound, Polish Hunting Dog, Polish Hound and Polish Hunting Spaniel. I have been promoting and supporting Polish breeds for 17 years, especially during the International Dog Show in Krakow, where we organise a Parade of Polish breeds every year.
So far, I have had the pleasure to judge in many countries, including: Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Russia (including Eurasia), Estonia, Latvia, Belarus, Hungary, Ukraine , World Dog Show Bratislava Slovakia 2009, Lithuania, Australia, Israel, Croatia, France, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Romania, USA, England, Serbia, Thailand, Slovenia, Norway, European Dog Show in Brno 2014, European Dog Show in Brussels 2016, Japan, New Zealand and European Dog Show in Brno 2025.

Breeding exam
Judge is Mr. László Erdős from Hungary.
The dogs have been part of my everyday life for more than 50 years. I started with breeding and racing Greyhounds. My favorite memory is from Helsinki, where my greyhound became FCI Racing World Winner in 1994.
I´ve been judging dogs for more than 38 years. Since then, I´ve also owned Hungarian short-haired Pointers (Vizslas) and racing Greyhounds, and I was an active breeder until 1980. I had been breeding with my wife, and many of our Hungarian short-haired Pointers (Vizslas) became European and World Winners.
I judged at numerous FCI national, international, and club shows. I also judged at some European and World Dog Shows, also in England on the Keeshond Championship show and almost all European countries, Asia, Seoul in South Korea, Kazakhstan, and the Russian far east.
Multiple times I was a president of different breeders clubs, for example, as Hungarian Sighthound Club and others. I am currently a presidium member of the Hungarian Kennel Club’s judges committee.

Tolnanémedi
Tolnanémedi is a small village with nearly 1000 inhabitants in Tolna County, Tamási District. It is located in the northern tip of the Tolnai-Hegyhát, south of the confluence of the Sió and Kapos rivers. It borders Simontornya to the northeast, Pincehely to the southwest, Kisszékely and Nagyszékely to the southeast, and Ozora to the west-northwest. The nearby towns are Simontornya (7 km) and Tamási (18 km); Szekszárd is 65 km away, and Siófok is 40 km away. The village is crossed by road number 61 and the Budapest–Dombóvár–Pécs railway line.
History of the settlement
The landscape was already inhabited in the Stone Age. Rich finds prove that the “elevations near Némedi” were used as a place of residence by humans in the Paleolithic Age. Although no human bones have been found from this age, the objects of use – stone tools – clearly indicate the presence of humans.
The 138-piece treasure trove from the Bronze Age has made the village a world-famous place among archaeologists. The find is estimated to be 3,400 years old.
According to tradition, the village may have received its name from a landowner named Németi. The earliest location of the village was on the hill beyond the railway, then in the Kisnémedi-dűlő. According to a record from 1324, the village may have been located on the site of the first settlement known as Újfalu – probably today’s Kisnémedi – as one of the settlements belonging to the Simontornya castle. The name of the village can be read in the donation letter of Emperor Miksa I under the name Némethy or Németi dated 1506.
During the Turkish occupation, the population migrated due to the extremely high taxes collected on various titles and the estates became depopulated. In 1686, after the expulsion of the Turks, depopulated house ruins, gangrenous, uninhabited gates indicated the existence of the former settlement. However, the area did not remain a wasteland for long, because it was repopulated, especially after the Kuruc-Labanc war.
In the 1800s began to fragment the area of the village’s borders. By then, the estate had already slipped out of the ownership of the lords of Simontornya, and so it happened that in the first half of the 19th century it had largely fallen into the hands of 24 large landowners and 41 serf families also lived here, as well as 25 smaller houses owned by settled free people. The current nucleus of the settlement – the “Belső utca” – was formed at that time and the village began to develop strongly.
The Lutherans and the Calvinists founded a school here at the end of the 18th century. The current structure of the settlement took shape in the 19th century.
A significant event in the life of the village was the construction of the railway (1879), for which a station was established in 1913. Between 1898 and 1904, the construction of the Pincehely-Simontornya road had a beneficial effect on the village. In the settlement, which began to develop, new schools were built from 1910 and industrial facilities were also established. A mill was established (1912), then a brick factory and a hemp factory began production (1922). Electrification began in 1942.
The Second World War tormented the village population in human sacrifice, financially and morally. After 1945, the distribution of land gave new hope to the population, and the reconstruction of the blown-up bridge also helped the settlement, but the inhumane policies of the Rákosi era brought disillusionment.
Agriculture has been developing continuously since the 1960s, new rows of houses have been built. The public utilities network has been built in the village, there is telephone, gas, and piped water.
Attractions and tourism
Tolnanémedi is a place suitable for relaxation and tourism. It is a young village that has started to develop in recent decades. There are 3 churches in the village – Reformed, Evangelical and Catholic. The Reformed church is a listed building, built in the late classicist style in the middle of the 19th century.
An excellent destination for nature lovers. The slopes of the Tolnai-hegyhát, the extensive forests rich in wildlife, the Kapos and Sió valleys are a very beautiful sight.
The surrounding settlements rich in monuments are easily accessible. The Simontornyai and Ozora castles, the Petőfi and Vörösmarty memorial sites, the Csók István Museum in Cece, the Németh László Memorial House in Mezőszilas, and the German Nationalities Museum in Gyönk offer attractions. There are spas in Kisszékely and Tamási (there is a thermal bath here).
The Ozora Pipo Castle is 15 km from Tolnanémedi, and is worth a visit. Ozora Castle is a real curiosity among Hungarian monuments, as the buildings reflecting the atmosphere of the Renaissance world have only survived in the country with significant reconstructions or in ruins. But in Ozora, the building that was converted into a granary in the Baroque era was restored to a 16th-century Renaissance palace building, where visitors are welcomed by a true medieval atmosphere, and we can get acquainted with the everyday life of the Renaissance era in a whole series of medieval interiors.
Today, the castle serves as an experience center. You can wander through the inner courtyard and the historical rooms on the first floor, where you can see the bedroom of Pipo’s wife, the ornate throne room, the Renaissance dining room and the castle’s consecrated chapel. You can see the weapons collection with a life-size cavalryman in Gothic armor and the 17th century nobleman’s kitchen. There is a cozy Renaissance café in the building. Guests can stay in the castle, historical suites, a honeymoon suite with a four-poster bed, and smaller guest rooms are available, with a kitchen and dining room.
